During the winter season, we always try to keep ourselves warm inside out. The best way to do that is by cooking food that is hearty, liquidy, healthy, easy to cook, and most of all tasty. Tilapia stew & Mix veg with bulgur (crack of wheat) is that recipe. It can be cooked for less than 30 minutes, very healthy and most of all it will keep you very warm. It is a simple recipe that is very easy to cook and you definitely cannot mess it up.
The food you eat has great effects on your body temperature, as the cold weather sets in, you need to fuel your body with food that can help raise your body temperature and make you feel warm. Soups and stews are excellent nutritious foods that can help keep you warm inside out.
Maraqat (Stew) Tilapia:
2 tilapia fillet (1 tilapia per servings)
7 tablespoon of olive oil
2 garlic clove crushed
1/2 jalapeño pepper chopped
1 tablespoon sun-dried tomatoes
1 cup cilantro chopped
1/2 cup dill chopped
1 small red onion chopped
1 small tomato chopped
3 Tablespoon tomato paste deluded with 1 1/2 cup water
1/2 Tablespoon cumin powder
1/2 Tablespoon coriander powder
1/2 Tablespoon Gram Masala powder
1/2 Tablespoon Rosemary
Salt as preferred tast
1/2 of a lemon juice
Maraqat (Stew) Tilapia:
In a skillet add 2 tablespoons of olive oil, let the oil heat up then place the Tilapia. Add half of your seasoning (cumin, Coriander, ground masala, and Rosemary). Cook tilapia on both sides. Cook in medium heat until it’s Half done.
In a skillet add 5 tablespoons Of olive oil, Then add garlic, jalapeño, sun-dried tomatoes Cook for a few minutes
Add your onions, Green peppers, tomatoes, parsley, dill. Mix and cook for a few minutes.
Add your cooked fish into the skillet of the vegetable mix. Add the other half of the spices. Add the tomato paste that was deluded with the water. Add the squeeze of lemon juice
Bring to boil let it cook for 3 to 4 minutes lower the heat Cover the Skillet and let it Simmer for 7 to 9 minutes.
Mixed veg with bulgur:
1 cup of Bulgur
1 1/2 cup Chicken broth
1 cup mixed veg
1 teaspoon coriander powder
1 teaspoon cumin
Salt as preferred taste
2 tablespoon olive oil
In a medium-size pot add the chicken broth, mix veg, olive oil, salt, Coriander, cumin Bring to boil then add the bulgur. Bring to boil cover your pot tightly lower the heat and let it cook for about 10 min or until is done.
