When I was a child, my mother would make the most delicious, aromatic, and enticing dolma by adding herbs, spices, ground beef, and rice, and many more other ingredients. Then she would take all these wonderful ingredients and stuff them in the grape leaves, cabbage leaves, Swiss chard leave, zucchini, tomatoes, green pepper, and onions. The Aroma of the dolma can be smelled miles away. It would make you hungry than ever. Dolma is time-consuming, but it is truly worth the effort. There are so many versions of dolma just within Iraq, as well as outside of Iraq. One of My favorite version of dolma is my mom's as I have taken her recipe and added my own version to it. Dolma is my family favorite. When I cook it, my children Would literally surround the pot and keep asking when it will be done, then they start to open the lid of the pot and pick the dolma while it is cooking they would start to eat it even when it is not fully done.
